EL NINO and LA NINA –  Due to very light snows as of mid February it appears that the snow melt will be earlier with full waterfalls in the months of April and May.  Late June onwards we may not see many waterfalls. Now is the time to book your tour to Yosemite so you can stay inside Yosemite Valley at The Yosemite Lodge by the Falls or at The Ahwahnee Hotel or Curry Village.  Rooms are also available at Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal at the Arch Rock Entrance.  On the south entrance rooms can be booked at the historic WAWONA Hotel and the modern Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp. You can also stay in Oakhurst. It would be best to make your reservations as soon as possible.

There are many small hotels and hostels with reasonable rates close to our office in the Union Square area on Post, Sutter and Bush Street near the cable car line and local bus lines. This is a nice safe and secure area with many shops, internet cafes and small restaurants. Please let us know the dates you want and the approximate rate you expect to pay.  We can then send suggestions of where to stay and what it would cost.
