If you only have one day !
Don't miss this opportunity to see one of
America's most magnificent National Parks, located 215 miles southeast of
San Francisco. Travel by DIRECT motor coach through San Joaquin Valley
climbing the Sierras. At 12:30 you enter Yosemite. With a comprehensive
Valley Sights Tour you spend three hours there.
If you do not have a night to spare and this
is the only time you are here then it is worth the long journey. Unforseen
delays can shorten your time in Yosemite.
Once you start it is not possible to
modify the trip. Appliances or goods can be returned or exchanged but travel
time can not be regained nor the cost refunded if your expectations are not
met. Please take this tour if you only have one day !
MOTOR COACH TRIP
Pick up from almost any hotel in central San Francisco area
between 6:15 and
6:45 depart by 7:00. Travel east through San Joaquin Valley. Brief rest stop
around 10:30. Enter Yosemite about 12:15.
*VALLEY SIGHTS. On
the way in we drive up to Tunnel View to see most of Yosemite Valley
including El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and Half Dome. Driving on the south
side of Merced River you see Three Brothers, Sentinel Rock, Yosemite Falls
and meadows. Past the Chapel and crossing the Sentinel Bridge we reach
Yosemite Lodge by 1:45.
During the next two hours you can get lunch, take a
Yosemite Tram tour, walk to Yosemite Falls or take the free shuttle to the
Visitor Center or other places.
Bus has plenty of room for luggage and duffle
bags and your back pack in over head rack. No cramped or tight sitting, good
for tall people. Travel in comfort. Restroom on board.
Return trip starts with
pick up at Yosemite Lodge at 3:30. A brief stop is made at
about 6:00. Coming over the Altamont Pass we drive through Livermore
Valley arriving San Francisco by 8:30. You are dropped off at the hotels
from where you were picked up. There can be traffic delays or late
departure - please do not expect to catch a flight at night. If you are
going on to San Francisco International Airport it is best to take a
shuttle or taxi from the first stop.
