Since 1924 California Parlor Car Tours has operated classic tours in California initially visiting the Missions along the Camino Real and then on the coast Route One where trains cannot go and driving is best left to locals who know. Well timed meal stops, essential sightseeing, tours, admissions and rooms are prearranged.

This tour has contrasts of hotel accommodation, vintage in San Francisco, a modern resort in Monterey and then in Solvang retro feeling taking you back to the way we used to travel.

Three meals are included - two dinners with a choice of menu, not pre-set and breakfast in Solvang. Lots of choices for lunch in the Wine Country, and Monterey and dinner in Solvang.

There's plenty of free time in San Francisco, Monterey and Solvang. You can ride cable cars, walk, hike, ride a bike, play golf, discover places, visit museums and missions, or just relax.
